I am kind of back?

So. There is so much to write here.

I am not a Licensed Massage Therapist. That's kinda cool. I also drive now. Dave and I split. Febe passed. I am off Zoloft. I hand raised a puppy furchild.

Long story short: I feel like a new person. I feel like I am in a good place in my life.

So. Yeah. I'm happy. I figured I might start blogging again. But. It's going to be about my life. If I find a good recipie, I am going to share. Tea? Might share that too. I miss being a tea blogger. Fashion was never my thing, but body positivity is kind of my thing. Crafts and mail? Probably that too. Ranting? You better count on it.

So. The MasterMind is back. I think.

Start Doing!

So, I picked up this book the other day:

Seems really cool. I have done a few things from it. And it's not like Keri Smith like stuff either. It's more of a 'let's start living' book.

And living, is something I've always struggled with. Like truly living. I was always struggling to fit in, and be 'normal'. But, Hell, I never have been normal. I've always been the weird kid with multi-color hair. And can pull it off. I was always the kid doodling on something. I never went to college. And I hardly see the light of outside  unless it's to get the mail. And I'm ALWAYS comparing myself to others. Always. And I am always thinking I'm not good enough.

But, then this book got me thinking. And when I bought it, I got what I needed to get my ACE for photoshop. I am going to get off my ass, and finally start doing me. :). I am worth it, and I am awesome. (And guess what,  YOU ARE TOO!)

New Years Tea Haul! :D

I got some Tea at Teavana! Most of the tea was onsale too! :D

I even got a tin and a 'perfect tea spoon!' That way when I move out, I have my own tea stuff too :).

 Sakura Allure is my fav. It tastes and smells sooo good! Moroccan Mint, I got for Dave because he wanted to try gun powder tea! haha.  Peach Momotaro is for my Mom. She loves it.

I'm still Alive!

So, I know it's been a while.

So, Since August my life had been spiraling down. I am really open about being a women, and it shouldn't be a big thing.  I've had menstrual problems since when I started when I was 10. My uterus has this habit of not stopping bleeding. And it causes a lot of problems, depression for one. My Dr. put me on Zoloft, and my life has been a little better. I am going to make an appointment with a Gyno soon. Somethings wrong, you know? When you can just feel it.

Then in September, as per post, my Nana got a hysterectomy. Our family has uteruses (Uteri? What's the plural?)  that hate life, I swear. Anywho, there where a lot of complications. I'll  just put it as that, because it's gross. We had to pact her wound. And I give my Mom much credit. She had to do it. And on top of being sick herself. My Mom's badassness never ever ceases to amaze me.

So, Then in November, Bman got his tonsils out. I got mine out when I was 19, and Mom was 25, so the little shit got his out when he was 11. lol. They where bad. And given family history, the Dr.'s just had them out. He's doing much better and can eat again! Yay. :)

And then in December, and even now, My Dad had to get is Aortic Valve replaced. There was nothing do to prevent it. It was going to happen sooner or later. It was really small, and the Dr.s where surprised that he was even standing. He got it done the 21st. He ticks now, which I think is so cool. He can't sneak up on me anymore. (Funny story. I was playing WoW one night, and he was fixing something. So he sneaks up on me, and put a drill next to my face, and runs it. I jumped like a foot off of my chair, it scared me so bad. He can't do that anymore! He's like the Croc from Peter Pan! BUAHAAH). He's now on blood thinners, so he's cold too. Which works to my advantage. I'm a cold person. I am always in a hoodie. ALWAYS. And now he is too. No more fan running in January. Smudge is glad too. Haha.

So, I plan on making a come back. I'll probably start blogging every other day or so in the next week or two.

Just wanted to let you know. lol.

Oh, and Happy New Year. It's a new start, you know? Hopefully 2013 will be a little better :)

Life is chaotic.

My Nana is staying with us for the moment. She had surgery, and a few complications along the way.

A very long update.

Hey guys.
Sorry I haven't been posting. I have been drinking tea, we'll get to that.
But my lack of posts has to be for the fact My Nana had to get tests done, she just had surgery, and to top it off, Mom has not gotten any better. :/. So, I have been running around trying to do what I can to make things as smooth as possible. So. Yeah. -deep breath-
So. Tea. Yeah. Lol
I can't remember the order I drank in, so here are the teas I drank over the time I was gone.
Gold Peak Tea: Sweet Tea. This was an ok tea. I think it was too sweet. If there is such a thing.

I made Blueberry tea in this ice tea maker I picked up in. It says you can make loose leaf in it, and you can, just it takes a lot to get a good strength. So, I think I'll stick it tea bags. :). Otherwise, this is a good tea, and a good tea maker!!

Nana had testing, so I stopped for a Pumpkin Chai Late from Caribou coffee. Omg. Heaven. That is what is in that cup.

I got a nice sampler from Zhena's Gypsy Tea. I have tried everything. And it's so good. Zhena's never ever disappoints :). I loved the Egyptian Mint the best.

A nice mix of Ginger twist and Bangkok from Spice Merchant. It was a nice mix, and honestly I think the reason I didn't get sick. My whole family came down with a sinus infection. I haven't gotten it yet. -fingers crossed.-

Chai tea from Sahara Bar and Grill. It was ok. Not the worst tea, not the best. It hit the spot though. :). We also smoked Berry Mint Hookah, and that was amazing. Dave wanted to take me out to relax. :). It was much needed!

Tea Swag Review: The Ingenuitea and Teavana Perfect TeaMaker

So, I wanted to start reviewing the stuff I (And my Mom) have.

I thought first I'll review these, together, since they are a lot alike, I think. We have The Ingenuitea by Adagio Teas ( Which I have no teas by them! I must buy some soon! And recommendations?) and Teavana's Perfectea Maker thingy. Mom's is the Ingenuitea. I have an older model of the Perfeatea. I got it at GoodWill for 3 bucks. If you're not as lucky as me, it'll set you back about 20 bucks. And I think it's worth every penny.

The Two Brewers

The only difference I think between the two, it the Ingenuitea mesh comes out. You can either see it as a good thing, or a bad thing. I hate it. It also tea stains.  But I like how all of it is see through, and the handle is pretty cool, with the grip and all.

What I like to do, is fill up the cup you are going to use with boiling water, (or regular, and you can just microwave the water to get it hot) add the tea to brewer, and then add the cup of water to the brewer, that was you have the right amount of tea :).

When you are done, you're tea leaves is right there. You can either steep again, or just throw it about. :).

I would buy one of these. They are so worth it. :)

Weekly Tea!

This week in tea!

Monday:
I learned how to do a Late. Did you know you can froth milk with just a mason jar? Add milk to the jar, and shake it for about 45 seconds. Taa Daa! Frothed milk. Put it in the microwave for a minute, and you got warm milk!

Spice Merchant Florence tea is a chocolate black tea. And it's amazing as it sounds.

Saturday:

Didn't do a whole lot of tea drinking this week. Saturday I ventured to Whole Foods for the first time. It was ok. It was a little over whelming. I got some tea. -shrugs-. It was to expensive for my taste. And everything fresh, I can get from my farmers market. Steaz was good. :). Nice lemon flavor.

Sunday:

Dave and I went garage sale-ling. I came across this thing:

It was in front of someones house. It's called a Little Free Library. I took a book and a book mark. It had book crossing books! Yay! It was the coolest thing.


Monday:

I got this tea from Whole Foods. It was really good! I made another Late! Zhena's Gypsy Tea is Coconut Chai. Heavenly. Not too too coconuty and the right amount of chai!

Tuesday.

First day back to school. Mom and I went to a little diner down town called Daner's Diner. I love that place. They know us by name, and we know them. They always ask us about our day. They're so nice. I love Mom and Pop places.

Well, Barb is a tea drinker. And she's been a waitress for a while. She always hates the taste of the ice tea that has been out all day. She freshly brews her tea, and it is the best ice tea I've never had from a food place :). It had to get mentioned!

Black Current tea by The Spice Merchant. I love this stuff. It's nice and light, but a huge caffeine kick. We ran out of coffee, so I am relying on Tea for my buzz :)

Strawberry Mint Lavender Tea by Tea Haus of Ann Arbor. It's an oldie but a goodie. One of my favorite teas. :).

Cleaning my Room.

I think I am going to publicly say this, to get my ass started....
I am a boarder line hoarder. My room, I haven't cleaned since Febe was a puppy. She's turning 5 next month. I had piles upon piles in my room.
I kept putting it off, making excuses. I haven't had a sleep over, or any one in my room. I'm embarrassed of it.
This morning. I woke up feeling sorry for myself. I wanted to make a change. So, I just started cleaning.

I will be gone this weekend, hopefully with before and after pictures.

Sharpie Tea Pot and Cup! :D

So, I found this on Pinterest. 


So, I gave it a try.  I also used color sharpies, to see that it'll do. And it stayed. :) I also put mine on a baking tray. You don't wanna touch anything until it 100% dry. It'll smudge. It's also hand wash only! 

So that is what I did today. :). How was your day?
