Ok, So, I went on a quest for a wee bit. I wanted a typewriter, really bad. I went all over. I asked, all over. I looked at Craigslist, people's friends. Nothing.  Then Mom was like ' Let's go to that new Thrift store' Of course I was like 'Kay.'. So we walked through, and nothing. I found a little back room. I saw a case. I got excited, I opened it. I found the love of my life. A Smith-Corona Gallaxie 2. It had a full ribbon. I was excited! I asked how much, and she said 3 dollars! SOLD!

I am in the middle of collecting stickers to put on her. It's a travel typewriter, so I will be taking it places, and writing letters, if I ever go anywhere! Lol. 

I've been getting into Zines, if you haven't noticed. I love reading them, and making them is kinda hard, but awesome at the same time. I've been crocheting a lot because of the cold weather, so I haven't been working on it. I'll have some stuff on my etsy soon!

I hope you all are ok. I went to the DIY fair in Ferndale last weekend, omg, was it amazing. I saw Electric Six, and I bought a whole bunch of stuff. I was in heaven! I even made a little hoodie thing, I'll post pics later. I got compliments! It was my first recon!!! 

Well, I've been working. Which, is good. Mom is getting botox in her stomach for her Gastroparesis. It'll help her not hurt so much. I'm excited for her. 

I've got an awesome recipe for pancakes. I'll make another post tomorrow for it! :D

Doin' the ATC thing!

Howdy Readers!

I've been ATC'ing. I've been having a lot of fun doing them. I did one with  few locals on facebook. The theme was 'Child's Play'. There's what I did:

I still am a noob. And I'm learning, but I really like doing it. 

Mom also went to Ann Arbor again. I picked up some pretty kawaii stationary. And sticky notes. :) There was also this cool tree: 

It was in Kerrytown. There are really cool shops there! :) I love Ann Arbor. Such a  nifty place! 

I haven't been getting any mail lately. Which makes me sad. I've been writing people, so hopefully my mail box will explode sometime soon. I love it. I've also done a few journal swaps~! I love Journal Swaps!

I'm also a half a pound from my current goal weight. I'm so excited. I want to weight in all the time, but  I only do it once a week. I think that's better that way. It's really cool to see the scale go down. ahaha.

As for dating, because I've promised I'd keep you informed. I've been going out with this guy. He's a programmer. He opens door. And like, actually pays for things. I'm so not used to that. I guess, I've been barking up the wrong tree, and I finally found a nice one! ahaha. We're not like exclusive yet. ...Yet. So, technicality I'm on the market.  Oui. Ahaha.

Also, I want to say, Happy birthday Colonel Pork! I miss you so much Sir! It's your 21, so please, have a drink? For me :D

The Post Box!

Howdy guys! :)

I crawled under a rock again. Someone pull me out? Lol. I've been doing Swaps again. I have 3 going at the same time. Bad idea. From now on, I will only take one swap on at a time. They're journal swaps, and I've hit writers block, and one's due tomorrow! D:. I'll pull it off. I've got an awesome support system! lol.

I've made this cute little thing:

I always loose my stamps. I found these blank boxes as a scrap booking store  ( that went out of business :<) and they where super cheap! So, I collected stamps I've gotten. I've got Australia, Ukraine, New Zealand and England. I'm happy the way it turned out! And now I have a place to put my stamps now, with out freaking out and loosing them!! I've been going through my room, and I'm  finding stamps. LOL

I've also ventured into making my own toothpaste. Oh, I'm special. I never knew that hydrogen peroxide bleaches your skin. I was freaking out when I felt a tingle on my fingers then too look down and see it white. I screamed a little. Like a little girl. Then My Mom was like ' it bleaches you skin' And then I became fascinated. Then I had to do my other hand....I'm such a kid. Anyway, the toothpaste was lemon oil, peppermint oil, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

My Mom, because of her g-pact has been going for testing at U of M hospital in Ann Arbor. God, I love Ann Arbor. But, anyway, I put this on a bulletin board they have. 

I hope someone sees it, and smiled :). People who are going to U of M, are typically the worst of the worst :/. The place is huge, and you know you're in good hands though. Plus, they have talking elevators. Which, scared the crap out of me. I was the only one on it, and I'm in basement 1. I'm going to the cafeteria to grab some food while Mom is in testing. All off a sudden I hear, in a 'Microsoft Sam voice: Going up. Floor 2.' This caused me to scream an " OH GOD" I could hear people laughing at me. Then I split my coffee. It was all good though. We went to the melting pot after. Then Mom goes 'You know you have two hand" And I interpreted her and was like ' WOAH WOAH WOAH, we have two hands?" and our Waiter got in on it " Two? I though we had 3?!". We finally let her finish " We have two hands...and they have different veins. " Very true. I bet your looking at your hands now.
